show Junes dates, can i just manually change this or will i mess up the whole spread sheet?
Thanks in advance.
When i input coucil tax, water an so on, do i put in my total monthly bill and then the spreadsheet will work it out?
or do i have to work out my % then divide by 12 months then in put the figure i come up with?

Help this wont open up for me

For council tax and water rates you take the figure for the whole year (but you generally only pay it over 10 months), eg: council tax bill is £1200 for year then divide it by 12 amount each month is £100 and enter that figure on the spreadsheet - when you enter the number of hours each week you work, the spreadsheet will work out the % you are entitled to claim.
For gas and electricity just enter in the amount you pay each month and again the spreadsheet will work out the % for you.

The calculator is giving me one figure and the spread sheet a lower figure, i haven't used a spread sheet before and wondered if there is a reason for this that im not aware of? I cant continue until im sure im doing it right
What cells arent adding up correctly? Perhaps need to check the formula is correct.

Hi, this spread sheet is great, but where do I put my National Insurance? I was using the book before, but its so time consuming and repetitive!

As far as I'm aware you don't need to worry about that. HMRC work that out for you and send you a bill or you can set up a direct debit

You cannot put NI payments through your accounts they are not tax deductible - everyone that earns over a certain amount has to pay NI. So you don't put them in your accounts
