I couldnt see how to contact the moderator, Pauline via private messaging as I aim to find out how to go about putting an advert on this forum. I'm a new childminder and new to the forum. Not quite familiar with the practicalities yet. Please help !! :panic:

Don't worry I'm sure you will soon get used to how things work. :)

To place an advert for your vacancies you do it the same as you did to post this message but you do it in the section relevant to where you live, so go to the vacancies section - link here to make it quicker for you: http://childmindinghelp.co.uk/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=41

Then choose the area where you live and post a new message in there.

If you want to add your website all you have to do is add a link back to either the forum or childminding help, it really depends on how you build your website on how to do that, but generally it is just adding a url.

The url's are:

or
www.childmindinghelp.co.uk/forum

As regards private messaging, you can do that by going to your private message folder and choosing 'new message' . Your fold is in your user cp which is left in the row of options below where you log in. :)
