I had my first graded inspection today and it went really well. The lady was lovely and made me feel really at ease. I got graded 'good' which i was really pleased with and the lady said it was a high good too and she was really impressed with everything i have done over just a few months.

No not really, she mentioned my fire drill which luckily i had done last month and she was impressed with my learning journals. She did say about the practise guidelines booklet which would be useful and i didnt even know about it to help plan activities for age groups and links to EYFS.

That was really my only recommendation she gave me.

I think there is something wrong with me as i wasnt really nervous at all. I had already spoken to the inspector on the phone and she sounded lovely so i think that helped. She gave me really good feedback but cant wait to get my full report now so i can see what i got in each area.

All my inspector said was "you've got a good!"
I had mine last Wednesday and got my report emailed to me yesterday so not long to wait! :)

Ive got my first inspection very soon, Im really nervous and sure Im not doing everything I should be and I SO want to get GOOD.
