My Inspector was lovely even though Ella was the child from hell and hit Maddie round the head, whoops!

I got 4 Good and Outstanding for helping children to achieve well and enjoy what they do.

I am VERY pleased!

Only 1 recommendation and that is to have a permission form for the children to be around my pets....silly me :(

I am sooooo pleased.

I am kicking myself about the permission form as she said I would of got Outstanding for organisation if I had had that.

But I am very chuffed with my Outstanding :clapping: Sad I know but there you go lol

And I was told I will definately NOT be inspected for another 3 years so thats a relief :)

The inspector actually said to me thats an easy thing to do to get another outstanding next time and you have 3 years to do it!

I didnt get any other recommendations for the other areas, she said its just a case of developing what I already have in place.

Do you normally get a copy of the report before it goes online?

Mine was on line about 2 weeks after the inspection, then the paper copy came through the post a few days later

I didnt know you needed a permission form for the kids to be around pets, Ive a dog, cat and two rabbits, all I have is a pet policy, what do I need to write on a permission form.

I have a pet policy too but she said if a child got hurt by one of the animals, the parents might say they didnt know we had any animals and then sue us!

I am going to write something along the lines of

"I confirm that I am aware that Deborah XXXXX has 6 cats, 1 rabbit and tropical fish. I understand that the children will be supervised around the animals (or animals around the children I suppose) blah, blah!"

My report was online about 3 days after she came, but then it took about 3 weeks to arrive in the post.
Your policy sounds good, I don't have any pets so luckily I don't have to worry about that one.
