Hello,
I've got a 3 year old mindee who has been with me for almost 4 weeks, this morning he swore at another mindee (his younger sister).
How would you approach a parent with this? (she's a good friend of mine).
Any advice much appreciated!
Thanks

Just advise what you had heard and how you dealt with it.
My own child learnt to say F off at a previous nursery as an elder brother who dropped a sibling off used to swear lots. We just ignored it as we found that when we made a big deal of it, my own child then knew it was a naughty word and found it funny to say it - when it was ignored, they soon got bored.
Ive had an older mindee swear and they have been pulled to one side and a quiet chat has been had about acceptable language.

I just say 'We dont use those words in this house'
If it continues then mention to parent.
I would mention it in their home setting diary and just say "We dont use that word here"
