do you want to work the holidays? if not, don't charge and use it as a unique selling point. If not, most minders charge 50% retainer fee

I only got i term time contract which is only day so i just charged her a higher rate but don't charge in the holidays. If you do charge for the holiday then you have to keep the space free.

I have one on a term time only and don't charge, I think it depends on you, I would rather have less in hols and spend more quality time with my children, but when my children are older I may decide to charge.

I charge my under 5's as it's a full day space but not my afterschoolies as they only come 2 nights a week anyway.

I don't charge for holidays as there is a real demand for holiday care for pre-shoolers - ie old enough to go to pre-school but no care in holidays. I get more revenue from this as they sometimes come with siblings. When I can take 3 under 5's I may want to have some time off in the holidays but at the moment this is what boosts my income so can't afford to. I only have 1 child who is term time only and the rest are year round.

i dont charge a retainer for the hols....i have enough with the kids i have got during the hols!!!
at the moment my TTO children are at school so are not in my eyfs numbers.
i charge for all schoolies £4 an hour and all EYFS £3.50 an hour,
But if an EYFS TTO child came along i would charge £4.00 an hour.
