If I bought a laptop soley for business use could I claim on in my books for it or would it upset my tax extra? Thanks

yes you can but as long as you can prove it is for business use only and not for personal use if not you can claim half the cost of laptop and insurance

Should be easily done as we have a desktop for personal use. Only really want a cheapish one that I can load office on to and then work anywhere as the desktop gets used by my children (Cbeebies gets a lot of business) and hubby and I for the internet etc.
