Hi all, well I have my first graded inspection tomorrow :panic: I can't decide what would be a godd activity to do with the children while she is here. She will be using our table where we do all out arts and crafts so was thinking a floor activity but not sure what, anyone got any wild ideas? I thought after snack we could go out in the garden and play with the sand pit (brrrrrrr) but not sure what is best to do with them indoors?

Also random question but how do you go about making Mrs O a cup of tea? Do you offer her one as soon as she arrives or shall I make her wait till snack time lol. Seems such a silly thing to worry about but as you can probably appreciate I am worried about every little thing right now :(

Dried pasta Tray

I use a couple of those really large tin foil roasting trays from the £ shop and fill them with different shape/colour and sized dried pasta.
The kiddies can then sit on the floor with saucepans, bowls, wooden spoons, mixing and spooning it in & out of saucepans. I also put some stiff card in for them to roll pasta down and a couple of cardboard tubes to slide pasta down.
They can also shape sort, colour sort and size sort too.
Pringle tubes with their lids a re good too as they can put pasta inside and make shakers.

I never offered Mrs O a cup of tea (but I know I'm in the minority) - to me she is here to do a job, not socialise and I didn't want to slow her down!

Thank you Toothfairy, thats really helpful. I posted the same question and then saw this post.
Im worrying too about my 1st graded inspection and looking for an activity that would cover most areas of learning which that almost does.
