My 1yr old mindee was very sick this afternoon.
She began vomiting at around 2.45/3pm (she has lunch at 2pm) and by the time mum came to pick her up at around 4.30pm, she had vomited about 7 times (3 times sick and 4 times bile/water).
Mum has just text me to say that Mindee is in Hospital, as she hasn't stopped being sick and can't even keep water down :(
Poor little mite. :(
Do I need to write anything up (I had already filled in daily diary with the details)? Do I need to inform anyone that she is in hospital?
Any advice appreciated

I would definitely write it up including what she had to eat whilst with you, how she was earlier in the day and the times, description of when she was sick.
I would telephone Ofsted tomorrow for advice. Whether you have to do anything else may depend on what the hospital thinks has caused the sickness.
Hope lo is a lot better tomorrow.

Thanks for replying so quickly.
Mindee had been a bit grizzly all day, she bought back some of her morning bottle of formula but as it was just a bit, I didn't think too much of it. She also had a runny nappy.
Parents supply a packed lunch which I keep in the fridge til needed.
I don't think it is food poisoning but more a tummy bug.
But I will inform Ofsted tomorrow anyway.

Update from Mum.
Mindee is fine, Dr thinks it is a tummy bug.
Mindee wasn't admitted, just looked at and Dr gave advice and sent her home.
Bless her xx

thats great news:clapping::clapping:
I think you still need to inform Ofsted that a hospital visit has happened because the child became more poorly whilst in your care.... I might be wrong on this though

You don't need to inform OFSTED of a hospital admission until they had to stay vernight. There's a link on the OFSTED site which sets out exactly what you need to tell them about
