Thanks everyone. I got a GOOD in all areas which is nice but I was hoping for some Outstandings as I have worked super, super hard and feel like I excel in some areas. It's cool for a first graded inspection though :):)
It went really smoothly and we talked lots and lots about all aspects. She didn't look too much at my paperwork (which I ended up shoving under her nose as I spent ages on it) as she said my SEF was detailed enough to prove I was doing what I should be (thanks to Sarah707 for her e-book!). I am really annoyed that you can only get a satisfactory for working with other settings even though my babies don't go to any other settings, but hey-ho.
I just need to relax a bit now so my nerves can settle........

Well done you :clapping::jump for joy::clapping:
Just remember though another day another inspector and you may well have got those outstandings that you were hoping for. I firmly believe that the inspection process is a bit of a lottery.
Now celebrate!:jump for joy:

Well done thats brill, Good is a great grading for first inspection. Sometimes I hate being outstanding because you are constantly worrying that people are watching you and waiting for you to slip up and the biggest worry is the fear of being down graded :panic: So enjoy your 'Good' :clapping::clapping:

Thanks - yes I agree, it must be hard maintaining an Outstanding. I am happy with my Good, the word just doesn't seem to convey how much work we do.
They should use gradings like 'Brill' and 'Awesome' and 'Amazing' which reflect how hard we work - that would be much more fun :D

My next inspection will be in 2013 and I'm not really bothered about being downgraded as being 'Outstanding' doesn't bring extra work. But I did it for myself more than anything else. As long as you are happy that you've done your best and parents are happy. What more do you need? :)
