Happy New Year!

I have my first graded inspection on Friday and my inspector has told me that she will be bringing a Quality Assurer to assess how she inspects me. Has anyone had this before - I am dreading having two people looking at me.

I only have one 10 month old that day, will it go against me that it's my quietest day? He sleeps between 10.30-11.30 so they won't see him then - is it OK if I am seen to have an hour with no kids?!?

Can't wait for it all to be over :eek:

I had that once and found the inspector wanted to make a really good impression on his inspector so he was very picky about my paperwork etc. I'd suggest you spend time between now and then checking everything so you can relax more on the day.

It will be good for you that the lo is asleep - you can go through all the questions then and play and look after lo when he's awake.

Good luck! :D

The child is still in your care when they are asleep so you are not without a child for an hour as Sarah says this is to your advantage.

Thanks for your replies. I thought it may be the case that they would be super picky :(

I sent off a very detailed SEF so I am hoping the inspector has read through it and is prepared with what she wants to ask me. I am hoping that she wil have read it properly if she is being assessed....

Can't wait for it all to be over ;)
