Hi. My lo mindee is starting nursery next week and I wondered if itd be a good proactive idea to send them my summative assessment of him? As a start to working in partnership ? I didn't get to meet them yet as was working when they visited mum . Mum is happy for this to happen. Would it be rather cheeky?

It's exactly what we should be doing! I always try to work with nurseries / pre-schools.
However I get a mixed response back
I hope yours are keen to work with you :D

Good luck with a positive response - as Sarah said we get mixed feedback from thanks to indifference!
I start with an introduction letter - who I am, how long I have cared for x and saying as we should work in partnership I would like to share info - along with a letter signed by parent to allow this
If all is positive I follow up - won't waste my time on nursery who just doesn't want to share but at least I have copies of letters to show I have tried :)
