Hello people,

Please can someone help me i have just sent my forms of to ofsted and waiting for an inspection date.But a bit unsure what i actually need for when they come out please could any one help with some info many thanks

I think you mean your Ofsted Pre-Reg Visit? It is not a graded inspection, it is a check to see if you know what you will need in place when you are registered, to check you knowledge of EYFS, what your premises is like and how many children you may be able to care for there etc. Call Ofsted- I am sure they have a booklet to guide you through what they expect, I'm sure it is on- line too but can't finds it at the moment!

You will receive a booklet of questions from Ofsted to work through and fill in. Your inspector will base the visit around your answers.

Now is a good time to get a head start on your paperwork - policies and procedures and risk assessments etc.
