Hi everyone had the call my inspector is coming Wednesday any tips or advice for when they come I don't want to not be prepared so nervous?

Dont worry, and just start making sure everything is in order. For example make sure that all your permissions and forms have signitures. That you have a completed attendance log. Check risk assessments are up to date and if any need reviewing.

Check Learning Journals are up-to-date.

Re-read on Safeguarding as a few of my questions were in regards to this ie - whats the signs, who would I need to contact, etc

Not sure if you have done any self assessment - either SEF or your own notes. Might be idea if not just to get some things down about how you plan to improve your business in the future so that the children get the best out of your setting.

Just wanted to wish you good luck for Wednesday.

My top tip is just carry on as normal - give the inspector your paperwork and then play with the children. If there is anything you want the inspector to see/know make sure you point it out, don't assume they will see/read it.

Be confident, even if you don't feel it inside, and good luck!
