I got a satisfactory with a good for my partnership with parents. I was let down because I forgot to get my parent to sign the form in the accident book giving permission to seek emergency medical care so she had no choice to put that as satisfactory even though everything else regarding safeguarding children was good, she said it was like building blocks and not having that signed affects the other aspects, which I fully understand, error on my part.

My LJ she liked but said I wasnt linking them to EYFS and thinking about next steps they way I should be, but that will come with practise and she gave me some ideas of what I can do, also some examples.

She said she can see my intentions and thinks I am well on the right tracks so will use words like "developing" and "planning" instead of "does not meet" or "has not done" she was very reassuring and very kind. Reminding me all the time i have only been doing this for 18 weeks... I hope I get her again next time

A bit gutted, but at least I know what I need to do. It WILL be done by my next inspection... plan of action going in to place after Xmas

Thats fine for your first inspection, well done on getting a good. I got satisfactory at my first inspection (was also pulled up for emergency medical treatment - I had the signature but couldn't find it in my panic!) good on the next one and outstanding on the one after that. You can relax for a while now and really get your head round everything. Well done

That's great. She sounds very impressed by you :). Glad you have a plan for future, always good to have things to work towards, it's where the next steps come from for us too lol.
