I am due my 2nd inspection any day now so am making sure my paperwork in order. Was just wondering how everyone else orders their portfolio? I currently have mine divided into the 5 Every Child Matters outcomes. Someone has suggested I could order it based around the SEF. Any other ideas? Or has anyone had any recent feedback from their inspections on how it should be organised?

Mine is under the ECM outcomes too and it's staying like that for now as it took me ages to sort out :)

The ECM agenda is fine if it works for you.

I recently changed my portfolio to alphabetical order. It was a huge job but I must admit it's easier to find things now :D

I have insurances, crb checks, etc at the front, then a section for policies and procedure, then a section for working with parents which includes examples of all the paperwork I provide, menus, play philosophy, etc and then a section for working with other professionals which includes lots of examples of things I have done. This works for me.

Mine is still under the ECM although I keep threatening to sort it out!
