Just got a phone call from ofsted asking when n what aged of children that I look after etc, n in then end of the call she said that somebody else will ring for inspection.
I only start looking after children 2 months now, n the other one just start about 3 weeks a go, and another one last week. But at the moment I only do the observation for the 4 yo that I have for 2 months, and haven't do anything for the 3 years old, and so is the new one..... Do I have too or it will be ok to leave it?
And also what other things that they would like to see?
Just my luck i bet she come when i have the 4 years old that usually cry for everything....

The inspector will want to see all your paperwork - RA's; policies & procedures; learning journeys for the children etc.

For the children who've just started with you I'd make some notes about what they can do/enjoy, share this with parents and ask for their input then think about activities/experiences you can provide to help that child develop further.

HTH's and good luck

I had the same call last week so am playing the waiting game for the inspector to call - every time the phone rings I jump out of my skin!! Hope you get a nice inspector and a good grade......

RA = risk assessment.
