When I registerd 4yrs ago my dd was 6yrs old and I was told to register the kids bedrooms because when they have friends over who are same ages they need to be registered.
My son was 8yrs and I registered his room too but is now is 12yrs and no way having anyone in his room...lol

My dd is 9yrs and her friends are same age or older. I only have 1 8yr old mindee that occasionally goes into her room to play at half term if he is on his own but no other mindees go in.

Should I de-register them as Im due an inspection and they are not suitable for inspection. i.e TV wires/small toys like playmobil. Just general risks in a generally untidy kids bedroom. Or shall I just explain to the inspector that they are not used for minding?

Thanks

I would just say at your inspection that you no longer use that room and they will make a note. That's what I did. x

I would just make a note of t in your RA folder/file too: that you no longer use the room. That way you have evidence to show OFSTED.

Many thanks...I phoned them in the end and I've got a new certificate showing I can't use these rooms :D
So they can stay in pigsty mode
