Hi
I've just finished my Home Based Childcare Unit and sent my Ofsted application off. Have a couple of questions about being ready for the inspection :
Does the radiator temperature need to be set at a certain level (along with the water temp) and if yes, what's the recommended temperaturte?

I have a teenage daughter whose bedroom is completely out of bounds, we've fitted a simple lock (high up) to her door is that ok?

How flexible are they about times that they come out for the visit?

Thanks for the help - slightly terrified!

We keep our radiators at a temperature that is not too hot to touch, imagine that a small child's skin is more sensitive than yours and set it to an appropriate temperature. As far as I know there is not a set temperature, if there is someone will be along soon to correct me :)

Door lock sounds fine to me, we used to do that to rooms that were out of bounds.

Times - Not sure, but I would imagine it would be normal day time working hours. Mon - Fri

My teenagers bedrooms are out of bounds and I am not registered to use them, I didn't have a lock and inspector was happy, as I only use upstairs for little ones having a nap in my bedroom and at no other times are children upstairs.
