Hello everyone
I am due for inspection and am sweating every time my phone rings:blush:
The thing is last time I was inspected 2 inspectors turned up and my inspection lasted 5 hours
I nearly had a nervous breakdown this was my second inspection
I was graded satisfactory due to my first aid running out and at the time it was difficult to get on first aid course I was gutted
This time I have raised the bar and I have worked really hard
I do not want the same inspectors
Part of me wants to show them
part of me wants some one else
one of the inspectors has a reputation for being foul
and is well known where I live
can you say no I want some one else to ofsted
It seems really silly to be in such of a flap but Im flapping:blush:

Yes you can as i refuse to have one certain inspector back into my home.

I am waiting the phone call at the moment and there is one nasty one doing the rounds, i am going to refuse to have her as i know it will end up in one big argument.

As sarah said on this forum, i refuse to feel intimidated in my own home

Yes you can - I had the same inspector this time as I had three years ago. When she phoned me to arrange the inspection she told me I could choose to have another inspector if I didn't want her to come again.

As the others have said you will be able to refuse a particular inspector.

Reading your post though I think you may be working your self up to much worrying about this.

You had let your first aid lapse last time and got satisfactory.
You say you have raised the bar this time and have worked really hard so have more faith in yourself.
From most of the posts on here most inspectors are fair and report what they see (although I think most of us dont agree with something they say)

Good luck and let us know how you get on

Try not to worry I was in the same situation as you and received a satisifactory grade due to my first aid running out and I also raised my game and received an outstanding grade at my last inspection. Hopefully you will not have the same inspector again and if you do as others have said you can refuse and request another inspector.

Good luck

Then you can definitely show you have taken on board the comments from your last inspection which can only go in your favour

There is one vile one round here who has been complained about a lot. She walked into a friend's house and declared that she 'didn't believe in giving outstanding' and what my friend didn't realise at the time was that she could have asked her to leave there and then as it wouldn't be a fair inspection. She went ahead and gave her 'Good' when she is clearly outstanding (as her latest inspection has proved).

Good luck to you - I'm with you on the getting in a flap as I was a right state before my last inspection and even cried on the inspector when it was over through sheer relief lol! :o I was mortified but she said I wasn't the first and I wouldn't be the last
