I guess you could do them with white paper and some glitter to make pretend snowballs as well :)

Yes no reason why not, the only problem with paper is that it is easily crushed by the children, but the foil seems to bounce back and takes a bit of rough handling, if you get what I mean, but if they are gentle enough I think they would look good - might give it a go! :)

ah - I get you - ooooh perhaps acetate then? they would look cool (though you may see staples) - but still another option -- got my mind whirling with ideas now :)

Oooh I like the idea of acetate, perhaps even give it a fine spray of silver paint? not all over, just in patches? it would hide the staples and give a nice effect. :thumbsup:
