After 2 cancelled visits Ofsted eventually turned up on Friday and whilst I know I'm supposed to wait to share my result just wanted to share that it was an outstanding inspection and I was outstandingly surprised about my result because
1) I've only been registered for just over 5 months
2) my husband has been quite poorly the past few months and I thought I'd let things slip abit and just prayed I'd scrapped through!

Thank you all very much :)
I am very pleased as it has been tough recently and my hubby still does not have the all clear - so I had worried I would not be 'on the ball' as such...but the inspector was very nice.
Tips wise I can just say what she said she liked.
-She liked
- The fact everything paperwork wise was easy for her to access - planning, RA's LJ's, Fire evac records etc, etc
- She liked the fact I could answer questions on where my children were when they came to me, what I did to move them on, their likes, where they currently are and how I planned to move them on now and that my planing reflected this and LJ's documented this and their achievements - she felt they were comprehensive.
- She liked the way I interacted with the children - 'sensitively' moving them forward and challenging them during activities without taking over.
- She liked my methods of communication and the relationship I have with parents, children and other settings.
- The 'set up' I have and how it meets the areas of learning and children's interests and how it also felt homely....
Sorry if these seem really general - but this is what she said, I will know more when I get my report....
