Hi all,
Could I ask, what happens when you move I have only just had Ofsted to inspect me as I became a child minder at the beginning of this year, I moved a few weeks ago and now have 2 mindees waiting to start but I'm worried I will lose them if I have to have another full inspection like before and it takes forever, what usually happens? and how long does it take?
Thanks!
They definately have to come and "approve" your house - like the first time they came round when you were registering :)
As for whether it is a full inspection again I'm not sure i'm afraid :( I'm sure someoen else will though ;)

When i moved they came round the week after my moving date but i gave them plenty of notice i was moving think i sent the letter off informing them a month before i moved and they rang me the week before i moved to make the appointment. I moved on a friday and they came on the wednesday. It's just like a pre-reg inspection she looked round my house and asked a few questions and that was that however it took her forever to send the certificate so keep chasing them on that!

Woooo Hoooo :clapping: I've just had the inspector on the phone and she is sending my certificate in the post! She said I will have another inspection for the new house but will advise me soon (she said it will probably be August!)
I can't wait, I've 2 children ready to start and am now going to see what paperwork I need to get ready for the parents :D
Thanks for all your advice.
Regards
Kelly
