Hi I am having a 5 year old sleep over from 8 till 7am for 5 days out of 14r as his mum does night shifts. He goes straight to sleep on arrival and his mum comes and gets him up. Would I be obliged to do the whole eyfs obs and learning journey etc? I never do anything with him!
Advice much appreciated!

When was he five? I would have thought not under these circumstances because he is at school for the whole day so they are the ones delivering all the EYFS.
I would just keep a simple note book confirming bedtime, that he washes his teeth, if he has a bath or any supper and how long he has slept. Also if he ever has a disturbed night.

If he was 5 before 1st Sept 2011 then he is out of the EYFS.
