I'm not good on the spot. My mind goes blank when asked a question so I spent ages doing the SEF so I'd given the inspector all the information I wanted to BEFORE she came. She already had a good idea what to expect and just followed up on some of the areas whilst she was here. It took me ages but was worth doing.

When you complete the SEF try to evaluate what you can do better and how you're going to develop your practice in the future, don't just list what you already do.

It's not about how much you write... it's about the quality of what you put.

Really try to focus on how what you do improves outcomes for the children... constantly ask yourself why you do things rather than just writing a list of things you do.

Hth :D

Thank you, I have a couple of days resting (hospital tomorrow  ) so I can get it done while hubby waits on me for a change

Hope you're OK.

I can recommend Sarah's sef e-book if you get stuck!
