Help Please.

My registration I can only have 2 children in the early years group.

I have 1 mindee currently in early years group but have had an enquiry for 2 siblings in the early years group. This will put me over. However one is at nursery 1 is at full time school so they will only be together for 1 hour a day and then in school holidays. Could ofsted change my registration numbers?

The child who is in full time 10 sessions a week school will be classed as 5 for the purposes of your registration.

The child is classed as 5 both term time and holidays.

However you must have a 'rising 5' clause on your Ofsted certificate.

You should ring and check with Ofsted if you are not sure :D

Thanks Sarah. I have phoned Ofsted and they are putting Rising 5 on my certificate, didn't quite understand it all but I know I'm not over my numbers and it will be ok in the school holidays. :clapping:
