I found this wonderful bench in B and Q yesterday......I so need to have 1...:D
The storage space inside is HUGE and I love the idea of when I "think" there is enough toys out I can sit on it and the children can't get anymore out!

That looks great I reckon I could be tempted to buy one of those even if they dont let me become a childminder

That's a great idea.
I'm very tempted now too - got to stop coming on here as I end up spending all my money plus I don't get any paperwork done!

Caza - just saw your message! I'm sure you will be fine to be a childminder - don't worry!

It's something I'm thinking about getting. Is it lockable though?

 I don't think it was lockable, but no one can access my garden unless they go though the house or garage. Guess that could be a problem if your garden has easy access.
Might be a way of fixing a lock to it yourself............

I hope so but I'm sure you know what its like just thinking you're going to be one of the few people who they turn down!

I bought something similar from B&Q last year ... it leaked during the winter and the locking mechanism broke within a few days...
Not sure if it was just cheap plastic, but I was very disappointed.
Sorry :(

I have a similar one although it isn't a bench nor lockable
And yes I sat on it yesterday to stop them going in it
