How can I prove I work in partnership with Children Centre? I have got my parent questionnaires, but I do childcare through the children centre but it is for 1 hour once a week, so I don't a questionnaire would be appropriate for those parents. However I was kind of thinking of getting a statement from the staff at children's centre, but I'm not sure what info I need if you know what I mean.
Has anyone else done anything similar. I know I'm not really making much sense. It's been a long day!!!
Thanks

Do you mean you run a creche or parent/toddler group at the children's centre each week?

No, the children centre contact me to provide childcare for children whilst parents are on courses or having counselling etc. By doing this I am building up good relationships with them, but not sure how to evidence it.

Okay. What I do is ask staff at other settings if they would be happy to write a short letter confirming our good working relationship. 99% of the time they will say "you know, I'm really tied up, could you just draft something and I will read it and sign it?" So, I do just that but I work in phrases from the EYFS principles into practice cards such as "suchabody and I work together to identify needs and provide the best learning opportunities for children. We share information regularly about activities undertaken by the children. We make every effort to ensure that what we provide complements the education and care the child receives in suchabody's setting" from card 2.2. If I'm getting more than one letter signed, I focus on one particular aspect of good practice eg I might mention how one professional has commented upon how our key person arrangement clearly helps children with their transition from childminder to nursery setting. Another might focus upon how impressed a particular professional is with our developmental journals, good evidence that "suchabody delivers personalised learning, development and care to help children to get the best possible start in life" from card 1.2 and 2.1 (meeting the diverse needs of children). Combined, they create a holistic picture of my provision. Works for me anyway;)
