Hi everyone.

I'm sure this has been asked loads of times but anyway here goes.........
bearing in mind I'm at the disadvantage of trying to register before doing my CYPOPS course (booked for september)..................

I have my safeguarding and complaints policys sorted plus quite a few more, done my risk assesments. Haven't finished making the house safe, but know what needs doing. I have written notes on the 'preparing for your pre-reg inspection' booklet. I have completed my first aid course, got the certificate and got all CRB checks back. Phew! :clapping:

Is there anything glaringly obvious I've forgotten?

Appreciate anyone's input, thanks!

Good luck. I'm doing the same as you hoping to be registered end Aug but my course doesn't start till sep. I've done a few policies but i'm finding the safeguarding one a little hard so if you have any tips that would be fab.
Let us know how it goes :)

Thanks for the good luck wishes! :)

Zumba-mum, I googled a lot and then re-wrote the ones I found so I didn't infringe copyright. There is some info in the efys pack about what signs to look for if a child is being abused and then you need to say what procedure you would follow to deal with any suspitions (who you would contact basically). There is also a 'what to do if you think a child is being abused' booklet. I hope that helps, I'm not entirely sure I've done it correctly myself!
