After attending the first meeting with local council in April, I'm finally at the stage for my pre-reg visit and O coming next Fri.:panic:
I have filled in the pre reg booklet, done a house and garden RA and all the statutory policies.
The thing I'm not prepared with really is the whole child proofing side of it as I don't really want to be buying stuff that may not be necessary.
Is it ok to have a list of stuff that you will buy in place to show Ofsted as and when you get a mindee, or do they expect it all to be done now?
Is there anything else I need to do to be ready ???
Thanks

Yes just say what you plan to do. Each child come with their own risk assessment...so a 6 year old won't need a stair gate etc etc. make sure you have a fire evacuation plan and all keys for windows etc easy to access (these were my action points)

You don't need to have absolutely everything in place for your pre-reg so don't worry. The inspector is also there to answer your questions and advise you.

Good luck, hope it goes well
