Im waiting for Mrs O to come, aparently Ofsted have still got 4 weeks before they have to ring me about a visit ( i got fed up of waiting and rang them thursday about it ) when should i start advertising for children ???
I have got lots of cards and postcards printed up from vistaprint that im going to put through doors in my area and put the word out at our local primary school but i dont know when to start it all ???
If anyone can help i would be very gratefull thanks

Have you got your CRB and doctor's check yet? That can take a few months... so if you start advertising too early you then have to put people off.
I'd say wait, get Ofsted over, get your CRB in your hand and then when everything is in place start advertising!

Ofsted have got my docs check and my crb is on stage 4 whatever that means ???
I did think it was a bit early to advertise yet like !!!
It feels like its going to take forever though :(

Stage 4 is the longest - it's a policeman's desk.
Just a little more time and fingers crossed it's quick for you! :D

I figured out today that i havent worked for a year now although i have been pregnant so have been recieving maternity allowance but it runs out in 2 weeks and have bills still eeep !!

:) keep phoning them as they told me the same and within a week i had a visit from them.it wont do any harm to do alittle advertising to friends

Hi what area are you in? I would suggest that you start asap if you have a straight forward crb (not more than 2 addresses, only 2 crb's to be done and no interaction with the law) I have just registered and and I wish I had started sooner it only took about 4 weeks from sending my crb back to my certificate to arrive. I am now deperstly looking for children to mind.
I would start advertising.
