Some years ago there was talk that all childminders would have to be at leastnvq3 qualified by 2012, is this still the vase or has it been relaxed(again)?

It is still not a requirement to have a level 3 (although if you wish to offer Nursery Education funding it usually is).

It might change when the new EYFS comes out in 2012 - but we will have to wait and see what it says.
