Guys just thought I'd let you all know after 2 months and legal action i just checked my bank account and it seems as my non-paying parent has actually paid!! it was only half of the original £1000 owing but i offered the settlement last month to just get the parent out of my life basically!

Yep i can finally stop worrying but although you shouldn't discriminate i will really think hard about taking on another male student as a parent. i'm going to actually think harder about taking on any parent that relies on grants and things to pay their fees purely because i dont want these kind of problems again.
