Hi I was just wondering if ofsted still carry out an inspection if they turn up and mindee is of? My cm friend is due inspection but mindee has been poorly so she is worried of them turning up and mindee being of, would they still inspect and grade?
Thanks.

She can ask them not to come for a while until mindee comes back.
Wish her luck from us :D

they will do yes, but your grade will be lower. Ask her to ring Ofsted and put off the inspection till the mindee is better :D

hi
it's my understanding that inspectors can only give you satisfactory grades if they inspect you without your children. They need to see you interacting with them as otherwise it would just be a huge paper exercise (not that it isn't anyway but you see what i mean:) )

yes thats right. They wanted to grade me when i didnt have any children and they told me i would get satisfactory, so i asked them to hold off till i was ready and they did.
