Hi, just wondering if anybody could help. I'm due Ofsted soon, I haven't registered the front garden but its missing the front gate, will Ofsted pick up this? This is my first post, any help I will be grateful :)

My front garden doesn't even have a fence let alone a gate. I should think it would be fine, but if you are worried just risk assess how you would prevent children from running out into the road when you are leaving the house to go on outings etc as htis shows you've thought about it. xx

my front garden doesnt have a gate either and only half a fence:blush: asked my inspector she said aslong as you not playing in the front its not an issue just to risk assess for when you leaving the house etc if the kids run straight out (we have a road out the front)

No fence or gate here either!!! Unless you live on a REALLY busy road I can't see there being a problem with not having a gate. As long as the mindees can't open the door to get out and run onto the road I don't think you have any worries!

Same here. I load the children into the car one by one, leaving the remainding children behind the stair gate in the hall.
