Well after waiting for my inspection for months I can happily say that I have been awarded a confidential grade (the one that you are not allowed to tell anyone until it is quality assured) but I am sure I can share it with you ladies and gents it is OUTSTANDING.:clapping: :clapping:
To say I am totally overwhelmed is an under statement. I have worked extremely hard during the last three years to raise my game but never did I imagine that I would get an Outstanding grade in even one area let alone 15 out of the 17 outcomes.
All I can advise any of you is to have all your paperwork spot on, I do not do individual planning just a general weekly plan of our everyday activities and a yearly plan of all special days and celebrations, neither do i do daily dairies and again this is deemed ok. I talk with parents verbally daily and note down any developmental stage that they achieve when not in my care and transfer this information into their learning journals. My one piece of advice to you all is to make sure all policies, procedures and ra's are well written signed and dated.
I would certainly say that the day I found this forum was one of the best for me during my childminding career. The information and advice I have found here is 'second to none' and I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of you who have helped me along the way.
