I totally sympathise. They never really learn until they hurt themselves and then they realise why they weren't meant to be doing it. My DS is 7 and he still doesn't listen and ends up hurting himself, doesn't get any sympathy from me now though, I'm fed up of repeating myself.

I'm constantly telling my 4.10 ds but he never listens either even when he's hurt!!

DS2 hurt his foot jumping off brothers bunk bed last week - even though he is still limping I found him up there this afternoon about to do the same thing :panic:
