I'm having my inspection either tomorrow or Thursday. My little boy who's 19 months often goes to his Grandma's on a Wednesday and it's planned that he goes tomorrow. Do you think that will go against me in anyway? I'll still have my eldest son and one mindee but do you think the inspector will think I can't cope with different age ranges? I can because I have variations to look after four children and she'll see that. Would appreciate your opinions please! Feel so sick!

I looked after my friends ds during her inspection - she got outstanding. Mrs O is interested in how you are with mindees not your own children - so if it will help you then theres no reason why he shouldnt go.

If that is his routine then don't upset it, continuity of care and all that ;)

Go ahead with the visit to Grandma's - Ofsted won't be interested in your own child only mindees so why spoil his fun?

Good luck, hope the inspection goes well for you

Miffy xx
