Hi guys, yet another question. :D

When i have my first inspection to get registered, as i wont have any mindee's what do i have to have in place. I have so many ideas and things that i am going to do once i am minding. Do i have to have things like a visitors book in place already? What about child & parent books do i just show ofsted what i am going to do or have them out ready. Also i am planning to have a colour of things for each child like cup, plate & towel, do i have to have these out in place or once again just show them what i am planning.

Feel i have so much information rattling around in my head but not sure what to do with it:blush:

many thanks
Love Lisa

Hi Lisa

You don't need to have everything in place already, just tell the inspector what you are planning really.

I had very little in the way of equipment, toys etc when I had my pre reg, I did have a long list of things I was planning to get though. (Still have a list somewhere actually!)

Sounds like you have the general idea anyway Lisa

You will not be expected to have children for your pre- reg

They will help and give you information and guide you

You will not need a visitors book just yet but can let her know that you are aware you need one

Good luck Im sure you will be fine
