:o Im such a doh at the moment.
The questions I am unsure on are listed below.

Question 25. How will you meet the requirement to complete and maintain a risk assessment for your setting? How would this differ if you were going on an outing? What should be covered in the risk assessemen? Should the risk assessement be recorded, if so how do you intend doing this?

Question 10. How will you manage childrens behaviour? How will this be agreed with the parents? Is a written policy needed for this?

I have managed most of the other questions now but not sure about the above too. I still think I am over thinking to much.
Any help would be so appreciated.
Thanks x

okay this is what I do in case that is of any use to you setting risk assessments do a yearly one that is written and very thorough - this is reviewed when there are any changes or if new children start or if they go up in development e.g. from crawling to walking

Then do daily check-lists the rest of the time

Then outing risk assessments, etc are written and kept in a file and these are reviewed weekly/when I use them if that makes sense only add/change if anything is different reviewed yearly

not sure if that is the sort of thing you need

Question 10. How will you manage childrens behaviour? How will this be agreed with the parents? Is a written policy needed for this?

Behaviour is discussed in detail when a parent starts and how it will be handled I also have a behaviour policy that sets it out

Also discuss what will happen at pick up and drop off times e.g. are they going to deal with behaviour or do they prefer you to and if they want to tell them that if child continues then you will take over and no reflection on them but children often react differently

I have managed most of the other questions now but not sure about the above too. I still think I am over thinking to much.
