My Norfolk Towards Excellence file? Norfolk CC have recently produced and very comprehensive Self evaluation folder which is easy to complete and covers every aspect!

If I complete this - do I still need the SEF form for my OFsted inspection?

You need to show evidence of self evaluation.

Ofsted say in their literature that they don't mind how you show it...

Can you copy and paste between the 2 documents so you are not doing any extra work?

We have a similar 'Quality Framework' in Cambridgeshire. My DO says not to do a SEF but I will because then Ofsted have a copy before they visit, which helps them and means (possibly/hopefully) a shorter inspection ;)

I am in Norfolk too and have been told the two go hand in hand write your sef based on the evidence in your file.
