It is and always has been...
Recently however (4th April onwards) we have had a restructure where the CFIS Service is now managed by Kent County Council's Contact Centre
Thanks for that. Is Kent CFiS managed by Kent County Council?

thanks for the kind feedback :)
For other area's we can only really give signposting to other FIS - if its a general issue or concern we try to give the best advice we can.

The following information is not able to be updated by us - this has to be updated by OfSTED who in turn will update us when they have updated their systems - the reason for this is that OfSTED are the 'data controllers' for this information and we cannot change it.
OfSTED supplied information
Your Registered Name
Your Registered Address
Your Registered Contact Details - Tel / Fax / Mob / Email
Your Settings Name
Your Settings Address
Your Settings Contact Details - Tel / Fax / Email
Your Registered Status
Your Registration Date
Information as to the time and duration of the provision of childcare
Your Conditions Of Registration
Information as to the number and ages of children to whom childcare is to be provided (where applicable) or maximum numbers of children to be looked after (where no numbers and ages condition is set)
Information connected with any enforcement action taken against the provider (notices of intention, notices of decision, welfare requirements notices)
Name of the local authority where the childcare premises are located
Date of the most recent inspection
Care judgement for the most recent inspection
Whether the person is on the Early Years Register, compulsory part of the Childcare Register, and/or voluntary part of the Childcare Register
BUT...
We are working on the portal to allow you secure access to your OfSTED data to send updates direct to OfSTED - we hope this will speed up updates provided to ofsted and in turn to us.
HOWEVER...
If the information you wanted was not one of the above we'll gladly alter it with immediate effect. :)
If it is OfSTED data - all we can suggest is that you contact them to chase it up - http://www.ofsted.gov.uk/Ofsted-home/About-us/Contact-us

I'm using the latest version of Firefox. Not only can I not enter details as a provider, I can't search as a prospective service user either....
Sorry, not being picky, but I have no way of knowing if my details are correct or not :(

thanks for picking this up - i did a x browser check as we have had an upgrade recently and the issue seems to be when firefox is used...
i'm looking into the issue at present but a bizarre way round this appears to be if you right hand click inside the field then the flashing cursor is available to allow you to type.
all other browsers are seemingly unaffected.
I'll provided an update once fixed.
thanks again

What it also does it promote your profile in google rankings to ensure your details are found as well as allowing you to promote yourselves
