I've found a poem that I've printed off, but I've now idea where I got it from.
I thought it was from this forum but I've done a search and can't find anything.
Can someone throw any light on this.

It starts

There was a Child minder who lived in a shoe,
But being professional she knew what to do.
She made best use of the space she could spare
And set up her home for family childcare.

She registered immediately with the NCMA
and so on, it's a long but lovely poem, does anyone know where it came from?

The Childminders Prayer
Oh bless each child
Dear Lord, I pray
I watcheth over every day
May they be happy
And contented
And driveth me, Lord
Not demented
May ne'er I scold
Nor scream nor snap
Nor pinch their sweeties
...while they nap
May tiny tears
There never be
Nor tantrums thrown - oh Lord
By Me!
But should the going, Lord
Get rough
When nerves a'frayed
Have had enough
A huge great playpen
Giveth me
And happy inside it
I shall be
Then let each child, Lord
Gaily play
'Til mum arrives
Please God!...I pray.
