I feel like I've tried everything but cannot find a solution to how to store dressing up clothes and accessories with easy access i.e. so it doesn't end up in a heep on the floor when someone is looking for a specific costume! How do you store yours?

I have a wooden rail that I keep about 10 outfits on and the rest is stored in a big bag out of the way and rotated

I have a rail that I got from a playgroup that was closing down. Like Miss Mopple I put some clothes out but not all - they still end up on the floor but at least there's not so many to pick up!

I have recently bought a long low box that goes under the sofabed.
The clothes do get tipped out but they go back in quickly and I can slide it away :D

I have a gorgeous stand that the kids love and all the clothes get hung up it does not take much room up - just tried looking for it but cant find it to show you
I had it from my lovely friend Monkey so maybe if she comes on she will see this and point you in the right direction

I'm a bit short on space so all mine are kept in a pine blanket box. The lid has a hinge that the mindees can open but then it locks in place so it doesn't fall back down. The mindees can access it when ever they want.

I have a plastic tub but its not good because they hardly ever play with them so a rail may be better.

I have this box http://www.ikea.com/gb/en/catalog/products/70159421 and we (the children and I) love it. I couldn't have a rail as in my opinion it would make my small room look even smaller and messy.

I have a rail - but don't like it as to have at right height for outfits not to drag on floor means is too high for little ones to reach.
Tried a box in the past and - ok but bits of outfits get seperated and so mindees pull every thing out to find what they want
Still trying to find a solution that works for me
So latest idea is to but some large strong clear hanging storage bags (like the ones I have seen 'big books' stored in) - and then to put each outfit in a bag and to hang on rail at the lowest height. I know I will have to support mindees to put outfits away before get another one out of bag but think I will be able to do this.
Will let you know if works - or not

I have a large playroom so this gives me space for a white wardrobe with disney characters on, kids love this and the selection of dressing up clothes are easily assesable.
