I had my first inspection 6 months after registering so it was Jan 10.
I thought it was every 3 years but my Childminding network coordinator said it's 4 or 5 as they are so busy and behind is this right?

Generally within 3 years but there are wide variations across the country - my inspection in March was just over 3 years from the last one, my friend was inspected in January 4 years after her last inspection. There's no way of knowing and grading doesn't seem to make any difference either.
If there is a complaint Ofsted may visit but won't necessarily do a full inspection.

In our area at the moment they are inspecting around 3 years but lately other minders have had theirs early, a good 3 or 4 months earlier than the 3 years.
I suppose it depends on your area. My inspector said to me last time see you in 2 to 3 years!
It will be 3 years this November since my inspection x

I know they have cut down on the frequency of inspections for schools but I've not heard that this is the case with childminders.
