Every time i click the new posts button it says "Sorry - no matches. Please try some different terms". I just tried clicking on my own "find all posts by this member" button and it said the same thing.
This has actually been going on about a month! Drives me bonkers!
Deleted all my internet files/cookies & logged out and logged back in but no joy :panic:
Whats going on?!

Pauline

It is a sort of saving of regular pages by your computer. More here on clearing cache::)

I don't think so. I've got a Mac and although I don't use Safari regularly I've just checked it out and everything works fine.

I also find that sometimes the New Posts doesn't refresh. It's happening to me at the moment, when I click on "new posts" the list of new posts stay the same it doesn't show me new posts just the same posts.
I have to shut the page down and wait a few minutes and come back on again for it to work.
I am sure it must be something to do with my computer somewhere because it never used to do it when I had my old pc or laptop, just me new mac:rolleyes: xx

OK my mistake, mine is exactly the same as yours (what would we do without screen shots!) I thought it was just called new posts in google but now I've checked both and they're totally different how bizarre!

Ds says its because all browsers handle things differently, because they're all coded differently.

Bookmark this link: http://childmindinghelp.co.uk/forum/search.php?searchid=3039136 its the link to today's posts, dunno if it will work tomorrow or even refresh but its worth a try... (DS says it should work)

My research tells me that it is a IE9 problem, hopefully one day they will solve it :(

If you really want to stick with IE9 you could try accessing new posts this way: http://www.childmindinghelp.co.uk/forum/search.php?do=getnew

not ideal but hopefully better than nothing if it works.

However I and many others really do recommend Firefox. :)

In another thread Sue said they got IE9 to work by clearing the history, this is what she said:

"He went into Tools - Internet Options - General Tab - ticked the box delete browsing history on exit and that seems to have worked - at the moment."

That is what I meant Tammy, so you have done it. If you download and use Firefox to view the forum you could go back to using IE9 for other sites if you prefer to use that, keeping Firefox just for the forum.

However, I LOVE Firefox and wouldn't use anything else! You might find you like it too once you have got used to it.
