Good morning Dave
I am accredited, I filled in a lengthy form explaining what I would do in scenarios and how I understand development etc etc.
I had interviews where I talked about how I would deliver this
Attended extra training (ongoing)

In our area you now have to have a level 3 qualification, be a member of the network and have a good or above from ofsted, then its a short form to fill in and jobs done!

We are now fully accredited. :clapping:
Not sure if it is worth it, only time will tell. Loads of extra paperwork and more visits from the "professionals"

I am just starting this and not sure if I want to carry on! Have had three visits from proffs yet and each time they have given me different paperwork to fill in! I have to do my learning journals in a different way and write down everything in my toy room and how it meets the EYFS ! then do continous provision sheets for my provision and show full planning for each child in the eyfs.! HELP!

We have different hoops to jump through here. It's difficult to know what to do for the best isn't it?
However I have a child who is going to be taking the funding soon and I would rather get it than somewhere else and him drop hours with me.
I have a list of resources from when I did a course a few years ago and use that updating it every so often. there is lots of help for continuous provision sheets if you look online.
Good luck! :D

We have to do or be doing our Herts Quality Standards scheme before we can be accredited, this involves lots of different questionairres that are reviewed by a panel and two FCCERS visits which take hours have two people having the drains up in your setting, I am technically accredited but pulling out of the HQS probably as i dont want the hassle of the FCCERS visit.
