Good luck, hope all goes well. Unfortunately I haven't had an inspection yet so haven't got any tips for you. Hx

Yes RELAX!

Be yourself, dont start doing loads of stuff just because you're being inspected if you dont normally do it because a) they'll know and b) you'll end up getting in a tizz because you wont be used to it and it'll feel alien to you

Good luck x

Smile and stay calm! Do as much a possible the night before to minimise the work eg get meals/snacks pre-prepared so they can be simple.

My inspector last week was lovely and asked me about specific learning targets for random children. This was a good way of sussing out my knowledge of each child and of the EYFS.

Make a list of anything you think she should know and when she/he asks you if you have any questions don't be afraid to bring up examples with evidence if she hasn't already seen or heard mention of it during her wanderings/chats with you.

Make mention of schemas/sustained shared thinking/any other jargon that you can think of! Demonstrate during play with the children and like when you are doing your driving test don't be afraid to give a running side-commentary to the inspctor if you want to clarify/explain to her/him the reasons whay you do/have done something.

Keep your sense of humour and be proud of what you do!
