If it's your first inspection visit they want to see everything you do with the children... so they watch, listen and look through your paperwork.

They should also walk around and get a feel for your working environment.

At the end there is some feedback time.

I hope it goes well!

Little disappointed as only got satisfactory because I hadn't enough evidence as only been working a month. Wish they would have delayed it.

Don't be to disapointed, many CM's get satisfactory for their first visit, you now have time to work, gain experience and ideas and you can aspire to a good or outstanding next time :D
well done:clapping:

Don't be disappointed, satisfactory means that you have everything in place that Ofsted require - that's no mean feat, believe me!

I know what you mean though, the word is not very inspiring is it?

You might find they put in your report that you have only been working for a month so this is why.

I'd been minding and only registered for two months when I had my inspection. In my report they commented that I needed more evidence and improve my knowledge in certain areas but acknowledged the fact I was new to the whole thing. No prospective parent has ever had a problem with this.

Well done you:thumbsup: do not be disappointed . I hate the word Satisfactory it does not sound as good as it is I think it should be renamed good and good renamed very good. Because satisfactory means you are doing a great job. Keep it up and your chin.:)
