Hi all,

I had my inspection today, I knew it would be today (as my inspector was being inspected) and even had a time... but she turned up 45 minutes early haha! The second inspector then arrived just over an hour later.

I got an overall 'good' with areas of outstanding which I’m really happy about but the inspector said on her way out-"have more faith in yourself, it’s your SEF that stopped you getting outstanding... I saw much better practice today than you made out in it!" which kind of left me a little deflated?!

Whilst she did spend time looking through all my paperwork, she spent a lot of the morning down on the floor playing with me and the kids (who were definitely not on their best behaviour today haha, joys of looking after three 2 year olds who have just had a week off hey!) and even got mucky in the sandpit with us :D Then the youngest child said as we walked back in "wash your hands lady!" cracked me, and both inspectors up that did!
